Fireflies at Night
For the "Fireflies at Night" template, have students draw a nighttime scene filled with glowing fireflies dancing through the air. Using markers and watercolors, they can create a deep, rich sky contrasted with bright dots of light. Encourage them to add trees, tall grass, or silhouettes of a backyard to frame the fireflies.
Suggest adding extra touches like jars catching the glow, animals watching from the shadows, or a moon shining above. They can create their own art using the ready-to-draw template or the 8-inch circle art template we offer. Remember, no glitter, fluorescent colors, or highlighters. This project teaches contrast and light effects while capturing the magic of summer nights.
