The Forest in Bloom
For the "The Forest in Bloom" template, have students illustrate a lively forest filled with wildflowers and hidden animals. Using markers and crayons, they can layer colors to make flowers stand out against leafy greens, and add small creatures like rabbits, squirrels, or birds peeking through the plants. Encourage them to use overlapping shapes and bold outlines for depth.
Suggest including a background of sky peeking through the treetops or distant hills to give the scene dimension. They can create their own art using the ready-to-draw template or the 8-inch circle art template we offer. Remember, no glitter, fluorescent colors, or highlighters.
